Moving on

It's hard to believe that nearly two weeks ago, this is what we were up to. Time passes so quickly. We had a wonderful Christmas, but I'm glad for things to move on now and and life to settle just a bit. My brother and his family joined us to celebrate days after the 25th and so it was as Christmas went on for days at our house. It was fabulous and much fun. The kids enjoy playing with their cousins so much. I am trying to regroup here and take apart the house little by little. The tree is officially down and placed out by the curbside and my Santa's will nestle into the basement hopefully tomorrow, followed by everything else. I am looking forward to cleaning-a good deep clean-we'll see if I'm that ambitious. I always use having little kids as an excuse not to deep clean-you know, just don't have the time with little ones at home-what will I do next year when there are no little ones at home???? Yikes!!!!!!

I myself have been having a bit of fun spending a little Christmas cash and gift cards. I treated myself to a couple of things-this beautiful new printer, a 6 month subscription here, a slice, a few extra little scrap goodies here and here and Photoshop Elements 8.0. I'm guessing it might take me until photoshop 9.0 comes out to figure out how to use it, but I'm hoping that I can remain patient and unleash the potential of this program. I'm excited to try!!!! I guess I must have been pretty good this year!!!!!

For our present to the boys we gave them a cruise to the Carribean-we are anxiousely awaiting our departure as it is so cold here right now. We've never done anything like this before so it will be a new experience for us all, but we can't wait. Now I need to study up on my photoshop so I can have some fun with all those cruise pic's!!!!

I am mostly looking forward to enjoying what's left of the winter and all the coziness that comes along with it. Reading books, hanging by the fire, a little extra time to scrap-all part of the indoor fun.

Speaking of reading, I think my book might be calling my name-time to go and get snuggly!!!! Enjoy your evening and hopefully I'll have some cards/layouts to post soon!!!!
